1. Our commitment

VWEALTH is committed to protecting your personal data under Vietnam's Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on Personal Data Protection and the Personal Data Protection Law No. 91/2025/QH15 (effective 1 January 2026), together with international information-security standards.

This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal data when you use VWEALTH.

2. Data we collect

2.1 Data you provide directly

  • At registration: full name, email, password (hashed)
  • When updating your profile: phone number (optional)
  • When contacting support: email content, attachments

2.2 Payment data

We do NOT store your bank card details. All transactions go through bank transfer. We only keep:

  • Transaction amount and time
  • Auto-generated transaction code (VWEALTH [user_id] [plan_code])
  • History of plans purchased

2.3 Technical data (automatic)

  • IP address, browser type, operating system
  • Access time, pages viewed
  • Cookies for the login session

2.4 Data we do NOT collect

VWEALTH does not collect your portfolio, your securities account number or your trading data. Specifically, we do not collect:

  • The shares you hold, your balance or your order history
  • Your securities account number or your login details at a brokerage
  • Bank card details

We do not connect to your brokerage account and we receive no trading data from any brokerage.

3. How we use it

We use your personal data to:

  • Provide and maintain the VWEALTH service
  • Email you the weekly analysis report on Saturday
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Provide technical support and answer your requests
  • Send important account notices (activation, expiry, password changes)
  • Improve service quality
  • Comply with legal obligations under Vietnamese law

You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time through the unsubscribe link at the foot of the message, or by writing to contact@vwealth.vn. The weekly report and account notices are service email for the service you signed up for.

Simulated AI funds and personal data

The 12 simulated AI funds in the report run entirely on public market data and use no personal data from users: they do not read your portfolio, they do not read your trading history and they do not personalize results for any individual.

4. Legal basis

We process your personal data on the following legal bases (under Decree 13/2023/ND-CP and the Personal Data Protection Law No. 91/2025/QH15):

  • Consent of the data subject: you consent when you register
  • Contract performance: delivering the subscription you purchased
  • Legal compliance: tax, accounting and transaction-keeping duties
  • Legitimate interest: system security and fraud prevention

5. Data sharing

VWEALTH do NOT sell your personal data to any third party. We only share data when:

  • Service providers: hosting (Vultr/AWS), email service (SMTP), cloud storage. These partners access data only as needed to provide the service.
  • Legal requests: when required by a competent state authority or by court order.
  • Protecting rights: to protect the rights, property or safety of VWEALTH, users or third parties.
In every sharing case, we require the recipient to meet security standards equivalent to VWEALTH's.

6. Storage & security

6.1 Retention period

  • Account data: kept for as long as you use the service
  • Transaction history: kept at least 5 years per accounting rules
  • Technical logs: kept 90 days
  • On deletion request: we delete data within 30 days, except where retention is legally required

6.2 Security measures

  • HTTPS/TLS encryption for all connections
  • Passwords hashed with bcrypt — we cannot read your password
  • Role-based internal data access
  • Regular data backups
  • 24/7 monitoring for abnormal access

7. Cookie & tracking

VWEALTH uses a session cookie to keep you logged in. We:

  • Use an authentication cookie (required for login)
  • Use a "Remember me" cookie if you choose
  • Use a cookie to remember your display language (vw_lang)
  • Do not use advertising / re-targeting cookies
  • Do not sell cookie data to third parties
  • Do not track across sites

You can disable cookies in your browser, but then you won't be able to log in to VWEALTH.

8. Your rights

Under Decree 13/2023/ND-CP and the Personal Data Protection Law No. 91/2025/QH15, you have the following rights over your personal data:

  • Right to be informed: know what data of yours is being processed
  • Right to consent / withdraw consent: consent or withdraw at any time
  • Right of access: view your data in your account
  • Right to rectify: correct wrong/outdated information
  • Right to erasure: request deletion (except legally required data)
  • Right to restrict processing: pause data processing
  • Right to object: object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Right to complain: file a complaint with the competent authority

9. Children under 18

VWEALTH does not serve anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children's personal data.

If we find we have collected a child's data without parental/guardian consent, we will delete it immediately.

10. Policy changes

We may update this Privacy Policy over time. For significant changes:

  • The new version will be posted on this page with a clear update date
  • Active users will be notified by email
  • Changes to how new data is collected/used will require renewed consent
